It’s a beautiful day, so ring your bell! We like to use jingle bell wrist scrunchies for this tune, but you can use any kind of small jingle bells! Show off your jingle bell skills and singing in “Ring and Sing”.
“Ring and Sing” provides opportunities to address these objectives:
- Improve gross motor skills
- Increase ability to follow clearly stated directions
- Increase sustained attention
- Improve directional awareness (see adaptations)
“Ring and Sing” is easily adaptable to fit the needs of your kiddos! For example, change the lyrics to further work on following directions (i.e. “If your name is _____, then ring your bell” or “If you’re wearing ______, then ring your bell”). The possibilities are endless!
